Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with ARRT MRI Advanced Certification and 2+ years of inpatient hospital experience for a Level I trauma and stroke center.

Details

• Level I trauma and stroke center with Magnet and teaching hospital designation
• Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings across 3 scanners: a 3T Siemens PRISMA Fit, a 1.5T GE, and an outpatient 1.5T Siemens Avanto
• Average of 7 cases per day
• Procedures include neuro, ortho, MRAs, body exams, breast scans, and IV starts
• Day shift schedule of 4x10 hours with varied start times and variable days of the week
• Every other weekend required
• On-call requirement of 8-10 call shifts per month
• Will float within scope to meet facility needs
• Not open to block scheduling
• Epic EMR used for charting; PACS experience required

Requirements

• ARRT with MRI Advanced Certification required
• WA state RT license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
• First-time travelers accepted with at least 5 years of inpatient hospital experience
• Inpatient hospital, trauma, and ER experience required
• Experience with Siemens equipment required
• Proficiency in neuro, ortho, MRA, body, and breast imaging required
• IV start competency required

Additional Information

• Perform MRI scans across neuro, ortho, body, and breast imaging in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Scrubs may be any solid color; light blue scrubs provided on unit
• COVID vaccination and booster required with no exceptions
• Local candidates accepted at the same rates with no radius restriction
• RTO should be kept to a minimum and cannot be requested during orientation week
• Prior facility staff must be separated for at least 18 months before returning as a traveler
