Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN for a day shift assignment requiring a CA RN license and prior travel experience.

Details

• Work in the PACU unit of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours (8:00 AM-8:30 PM)
• No weekends required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of total travel experience required, with 6+ months of continuous travel experience leading up to application
• 1.5 years of continuous experience in the PACU specialty required, with no breaks in specialty unless floating
• EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner EMR experience within the last 6 months required
• 1 supervisory-level professional reference required at time of consideration
• Copies of required AHA certifications required; no pending or expired certifications accepted
• Active license verification required at time of consideration; no pending or expired licenses accepted

Additional Information

• Interview availability required as part of the hiring process
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Previous permanent staff and travelers may reapply after a 1-year separation period
• Maximum RTO of 7 days permitted, with no additional requests after consideration
• Candidates residing within a 100-mile radius are not eligible for consideration, except LVNs/LPNs
• Candidates on assignment in San Diego for 9+ months or longer are considered local and not eligible
