Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology RN for a night shift position requiring ONS Chemotherapy & Biotherapy certification and prior travel experience.
Details
- Oncology unit setting
- Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
- Uses EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner EMR
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- ONS Chemotherapy & Biotherapy certification required
- Minimum 1 year total travel experience required (does not apply to LVNs)
- 6+ months of continuous travel experience immediately preceding consideration
- 1.5 years of continuous experience in oncology specialty required
- EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience within the last 6 months required
- Copies of required certifications must be submitted; no pending certifications accepted
- One supervisory-level professional reference required
Additional Information
- Interview availability required
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates residing within a 100-mile radius are not eligible (exception for LVN/LPN candidates)
- Candidates on assignment in San Diego for 9+ months or more are considered local and are not eligible
- Former permanent staff or travelers may reapply after a 1-year separation
- Maximum RTO of 7 days permitted at time of submission, with no additional requests afterward
