Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with 2+ years of experience performing General, Vascular, and OB ultrasound exams.

Details

  • General, Vascular, and OB ultrasound unit
  • Evening shift, 3x12 hours, Friday-Sunday from 2:00 PM to 2:00 AM
  • Rotating schedule totaling 84 hours per two weeks (one week 3x12, next week 4x12)
  • No on-call requirements
  • Uses GE ultrasound equipment and PACS system

Requirements

  • ARDMS certification and AHA BLS required
  • License required if applicable
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in General, Vascular, and OB ultrasound required
  • Ability to perform General, Vascular, and OB ultrasound exams
  • Valid driver's license matching permanent address required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted; medical and religious exemptions reviewed case-by-case
  • Must work either a major or minor holiday
  • Up to 7 days of RTO considered and must be presented upfront with no changes accepted
  • Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
  • Two professional references required, including one charge or higher and one supervisor, both completed within the last year
  • Travelers who have worked one year must take a minimum 6-month break before returning
