Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position requiring 2+ years of ER experience and an active MI RN license.

Details

Work in a 35-treatment-room Emergency Center at a hospital
Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM with a 36-hour guarantee
Every other weekend required
No on-call requirements
Uses MediTech EMR

Requirements

Active MI RN license required at time of consideration
Minimum 2 years of RN Emergency Room experience required
Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, and TNCC

Additional Information

Deliver nursing care within unit scope of practice, following hospital policies, nursing process guidelines, and standards of care
Clinical Nurse Specialists provide advanced nursing expertise support to staff
Formal orientation program tailored to individual needs offered through nursing education department
Ongoing staff development through formal and informal programs covering topics such as wound care and pain management
Navy blue dress code required
Holiday coverage required
Local candidates within a 35-mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers with adjusted travel pay
Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed during the assignment
