Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a combined Med Surg/ER unit requiring CAH experience and the ability to work both departments.

Details

• Critical Access Hospital (CAH) acute care setting combining Med Surg and ER units
• Nurses work across both Med Surg and ER together
• Care for hospitalized patients (inpatient, observation, and swing bed), outpatients receiving infusions or treatments, and ER patients
• 12-bed inpatient capacity including 10 med/surg beds plus outpatient rooms
• Uses Epic for computerized charting and barcode medication scanning
• Day/Night rotating 12-hour shifts
• Every 3rd weekend and every other holiday required

Requirements

• Active RN license (ND or Compact) required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• 2-3 years of Med Surg and/or ER experience preferred
• CAH experience required
• BSN not required
• Must be able to work both ER and Med Surg

Additional Information

• Provide care across both Med Surg and ER patient populations
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Must badge in and out at the facility
• Holiday coverage required on a rotating basis
• Accepts local candidates within an 80-mile radius at an adjusted bill rate
• Previous Sanford Health employees must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission
