Description
American Traveler is seeking an Inpatient Rehabilitation Physical Therapist with 1+ year of experience and Epic charting skills for a rehabilitation hospital setting.
Details
- Rehabilitation hospital inpatient setting
- 5x8 Monday-Friday day shift, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
- 2 weekend shifts required with flexibility to choose weekends and comp days
- No call required
- Patient population includes orthopedic, neurologic, cardiopulmonary, and geriatric cases
- Treats conditions including total hip/knee replacements, post-op spinal and shoulder surgery, stroke, and COPD/CHF
- Uses adaptive devices, assistive equipment, and modalities such as E-stim and TENS
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- BLS certification required
- WI state PT license required (license required if applicable); pending license accepted
- Experience with evaluations, plan of care, and home exercise programs required
- Must be clean-shaven to achieve proper mask seal for respirator fit testing
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment planning, and patient/family education
- Facility closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day
- First-time travelers accepted
- 70-mile radius rule applies; local candidates not accepted
- Clinicians cannot work past 1 year as a traveler without taking a 6-month break before returning
- CAPRs and PAPRs are not provided, and personal devices are not permitted; no medical or religious exemptions allowed for fit testing
