Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for an outpatient medical imaging role requiring ARRT(R) certification and current state licensure.
Details
- Outpatient medical imaging setting with potential to float to Main Radiology as needed
- 8-hour day shifts starting at 8:00 AM
- May be scheduled on weekends
- Performs positioning for chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, and ankle x-rays
- Operates X-ray equipment and processes images into PACS
- Provides basic patient care under supervision of the clinic nurse
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Current BLS/BCLS and ARRT(R) certification required
- Current Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by California Department of Health Services
- California issued Fluoroscopy Permit
- State license required if applicable and must be currently active
- EPIC EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Duties include obtaining vital signs, placing patients in exam rooms, obtaining specimens including blood draws if qualified, preparing patients for clinician evaluation, and assisting the clinician
- Responsible for keeping the work area orderly and well stocked with supplies and equipment
- May perform selected procedures as defined in the Patient Care Standards Manual
- Previous traveler experience preferred
