Description
American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technician with 1-3 years of experience and ARRT certification for a radiology position requiring float coverage across multiple clinic sites.
Details
- Radiology department setting with rotation between multiple outpatient imaging sites
- Night shift schedule, 3 days per week at 13 hours per day (39 hours/week)
- Wednesday shift is 10am-6pm at the Wayne, NJ location
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday shifts are 8am-4pm with floating between various sites, remaining stationary for the full workday at each location
- Potential float locations include Wayne, Bridgewater, Rockaway, Warren, Basking Ridge, Clark, New Providence, and Morristown, NJ
- On-call requirements apply
- Uses Epic for charting
- May float to a sister hospital nearby
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program
- NJ state RT license required if applicable
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Current knowledge of clinical practice trends and healthcare informatics advances
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Additional Information
- Perform imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
- Maintain imaging equipment and assess patient safety, comfort, and procedural needs
- Monitor and coordinate daily imaging procedures and revisions as needed
- Accepts local candidates at a lower rate
