Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg LTC/SNF RN for a 13-week night shift contract requiring 2+ years of experience and a SD or compact RN license.

Details

• Long-term care/skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF) setting within a 42-bed unit
• Patient population includes a mix of long-term care, memory care, dementia, and orthopedic patients with no current behavioral risks
• Staffing ratio of 2 nurses during days/evenings and 1 nurse overnight
• Uses Point Click Care (PCC) as the charting system
• Night shift schedule from 6p-6:30a
• Works 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• No on-call or call-back responsibilities

Requirements

• Active SD or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• PCC EMR experience preferred
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to long-term care residents including those with memory care, dementia, and orthopedic needs
• Location-specific orientation covers building orientation and lift equipment training, lasting approximately 2-4 hours
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
• Candidates residing within 80 miles are considered local
