Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / IR Technologist with 2+ years of Interventional Radiology experience and Epic EMR proficiency.
Details
- Work in a Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology setting
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Patient population includes young adult, middle adult, and older adult cases
- Procedures include angioplasty, embolization, chemoembolization, stent placements, IVC filter placement/removal, nephrostomy, cystoscopy, and various angiographic studies
- Responsibilities include equipment setup, room circulating, and scrubbing to maintain a sterile field
- Epic EMR experience required
- May require floating between sister facilities as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years Interventional Radiology experience required
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- ARRT or CCI RCIS certification required (ARRT R and California Radiologic Tech preferred)
- Valid state license required if applicable; compact license must be in hand at submission
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience with vascular closure systems such as Perclose and StarClose
- Skilled in a wide range of IR procedures including angiography, biopsy, and stent placements
- Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are not considered for this role
- Candidates must be open to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Weekend requirements may exceed every other weekend based on unit needs
- Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
- Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility
- All RTO requests must be submitted upfront during the application process; post-offer RTO changes may not be accommodated
