Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Intensive Care Unit position requiring CRRT and/or IABP experience and a KY or compact RN license.

Details

20-bed medical ICU with 2:1 patient ratios
Care for cardiac arrest, sepsis, mechanical ventilation, stroke, surgical, and continuous dialysis patients, along with invasive bedside procedures
3x12 schedule, 7a-7p shifts
Weekend and holiday rotation required

Requirements

Active, unrestricted KY or compact RN license
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred
CRRT and/or IABP experience required
Strong communication and collaboration skills with inter-professional care team

Additional Information

Provide comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, and direct nursing care in the ICU
Coordinate patient admission, transfer, and discharge activities
Deliver patient and family-centered education and holistic nursing care
Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities
Must reside within 75 miles of the facility for travel rate eligibility, with local candidates accepted at a lower rate
