Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN requiring CRRT/IABP experience for a 13-week night shift contract.

Details

• Work in a 20-bed medical ICU with 2:1 patient ratios
• Care for cardiac arrest, sepsis, mechanical ventilation, stroke, surgical, and continuous dialysis patients, including invasive bedside procedures
• Night shift schedule: 7p-7a, 3x12, 36 hours per week
• Weekend and holiday rotation required

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or Compact)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• CRRT and IABP experience required
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• Last 4 digits of SSN and MM/DD of DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Deliver direct patient care including assessments, treatments, and care coordination across all phases of the nursing process
• Facilitate admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient/family education
• Collaborate with the interprofessional care team and participate in unit-based quality improvement activities
• Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the facility; local candidates accepted at a lower rate
