Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with CRRT and/or IABP experience for a 20-bed medical ICU position requiring KY or compact RN licensure.

Details

• 20-bed medical ICU with 2:1 patient ratios
• Cares for cardiac arrest, sepsis, mechanical ventilation, stroke, surgical, and continuous dialysis patients requiring invasive bedside procedures
• 3x12 schedule, 7a-7p, first shift
• Weekend and holiday rotation required

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or compact)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred
• Must have CRRT and/or IABP experience
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with interdisciplinary care team

Additional Information

• Provides comprehensive patient assessments, individualized treatment planning, and care coordination across all phases of the nursing process
• Delegates and oversees patient care tasks performed by other team members
• Facilitates patient discharge process including discharge teaching and coordination with Case Management
• Participates in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures
• Candidates must reside within 75 miles or accept a local rate
