Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with required cardiac catheterization lab and circulating experience to support a diverse patient population.

Details

• Cath Lab setting supporting cardiac and interventional radiology cases
• Diverse patient population across the age continuum
• Supports STEMI cases, vascular emergencies, pacemaker insertions, Impella insertions, and balloon pump insertions
• Neuro IR and interventional radiology experience preferred
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• On-call requirement of 1 week on, 1 week off
• High Spanish-speaking patient population with translator staff available to assist

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of hospital-based acute care experience required
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Circulating experience required
• MRT, RCIS, or CVT certification required; ARRT preferred (license required if applicable)
• CPR certification required
• Associate's degree in applied science from an accredited radiology or cardiovascular technology program required
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Must have a pending TX license or active Multi-State License

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for cardiac and interventional radiology cases
• Reports to the Cath Lab supervisor and works under the guidance of senior catheterization laboratory technologists
• First-time travelers accepted
• Locals accepted at local bill rate
• Local radius requirement of 50 miles
• Must include a supervisory reference
• Any prior legal action must be disclosed at time of consideration
