Description
American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Intermediate Care (IMC) unit requiring 2 years of critical care/telemetry experience and night shift availability.
Details
- Work in the Intermediate Care (IMC) unit of a hospital environment
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Floating required to other units and sister facilities within a 75-mile radius as needed
- Uses Epic charting system
- Bi-Pap and high flow O2 equipment utilized
Requirements
- Active RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, EKG Course/Telemetry test, and NIHSS
- PCCN certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of current critical care and telemetry experience required
- Current and valid driver's license or state-issued ID required
- Utility bill in traveler's name with matching address within the last three months required
- Two supervisory references required
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care to intermediate care patients requiring telemetry monitoring
- Block scheduling is not accommodated
- Maximum RTO of 5 days per 13-week assignment, with no holiday or blackout date requests accepted
- Must reside greater than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Local candidates are not accepted
- Previous Integris employees must have a minimum of 1 year separation from the health system to be eligible
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
