Description

American Traveler is seeking a Home Health RN with skilled homecare experience to serve the Greater Nashua area, managing a daily caseload with wound care, IV management, and ostomy care expertise.

Details

• Home Health setting covering the Greater Nashua, NH area
• Adult and geriatric patient population with varying diagnoses and acuity levels
• High volume of skilled wound care, IV management, ostomy care and education, and chronic disease management
• Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
• Self-scheduling model with flexibility required to accommodate urgent admissions
• Expected caseload of 6 patients per day after initial orientation period
• Occasional weekend coverage as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate; traveler must have own transportation

Requirements

• Active RN license (NH or compact) required; pending license with proof of application accepted upon offer
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of skilled home health nursing experience required
• Experience with wound care, IV management, and ostomy care preferred
• OASIS documentation experience preferred
• Skills in phlebotomy, peripheral IV/central line/port management, and colostomy/ileostomy care preferred
• Must be willing to float based on unit needs

Additional Information

• Provide skilled home health nursing visits to adult and geriatric patients across varying diagnoses and acuity levels
• Three-day orientation provided with expectation of reaching full productivity (6 patients/day) after the first week
• One week of pre-approved time off accommodated; additional requests considered case-by-case
• Former employees of the health system are not eligible for this assignment regardless of separation length
• First-time travelers will be considered for candidates with strong homecare experience
• Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility are accepted at the local rate
