Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) for a night shift hospital assignment requiring at least 1 year of experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Night shift position (3x12 hours), 18:30 to 07:00 or alternate 06:30 to 19:00
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Weekend coverage required every other weekend
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- RRT or CRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Level 3 NICU experience a plus
- License required if applicable
- Driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- May be assigned to an Emergency Team during declared emergency events, with an expectation to remain onsite or serve on a relief team
- Must be willing to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
- Black scrub color required
- First-time travelers will be considered if they have 1+ years of experience
- Candidates must live outside a 65-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
- Former Ochsner Health staff or in-house agency contractors must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
- All requested time off must be disclosed on the profile and discussed during the interview
