Description
American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a 26-week assignment requiring AK RN licensure, AWHONN Intermediate certification, and at least 1 year of L&D experience.
Details
- Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care medical center that also includes long-term care and outpatient services
- Level IV Trauma, Critical Access Hospital setting
- 3x12 variable day and night shifts (7:00-19:00 / 19:00-7:00)
- Weekend shifts required
- No on-call requirements
- Floating within scope required to meet facility needs
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active AK RN license required (compact license must be in hand at time of submission)
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
- 2 references covering 1 year of supervisory experience within the last 3 years required
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Scrub attire is flexible: any color or business casual
- RTO requests should be submitted upfront; post-offer requests may not be accommodated
- Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted site
- Candidates must not have a permanent address within 50 miles of the facility
- Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a minimum 3-month waiting period
- Candidates should not contact facility staff directly except for scheduled interviews
