Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery/LDRP position requiring 2 years of LDRP experience and NRP certification.
Details
- Family Birth Suites unit with OB Maternal Level 2 and Nursery Level 1 designation on a 24-bed unit
- Labor patient ratio of 1-2:1 and postpartum ratio of 3-4:1
- 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
- Uses Epic EMR
- Call required, equating to 12 hours within one calendar month
- Floating required, with travelers prioritized first and possible floating to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
Requirements
- Active RN license (FL or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
- Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience required
- Nursing degree must come from an accredited program on profile, or candidate must have 5 years of experience in lieu of accreditation documentation
- Driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing
Additional Information
- Provide labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum nursing care within an integrated LDRP model
- Travelers are expected to function as core staff and are welcomed into unit culture
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, with strict enforcement including property ownership checks
- No block scheduling requests accepted
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to consideration, as facility will not approve RTO after submission
- Orientation begins on a Friday, including remote orientation and an in-person visit to the facility for badge and ID
- Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date with no exceptions for pending documentation
- Required documents include SS card, driver's license, and COVID/Flu documentation
