Description
American Traveler is hiring an Outpatient MRI Technologist with ARRT(MRI) certification and 2+ years of MRI experience for a full-time assignment.
Details
- Outpatient diagnostic imaging setting
- Full-time 4x10 schedule, Monday through Friday
- Shift times vary, starting as early as 6:00 a.m. and ending as late as 7:00 p.m.
- Operates magnetic resonance scanner to produce diagnostic images
- May require on-call availability to respond to patient or organizational needs
Requirements
- Active state license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
- ARRT and ARRT(MRI) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited Radiology program or equivalent
- Experience with EMR, MS Office, and standard office equipment
Additional Information
- Performs MRI exams and procedures as requested by medical staff and assists radiologists during exams
- Completes documentation for interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams
- Retrieves prior images, studies, and health information to support timely exam performance
- Performs routine inspections and maintenance on the scanner
- Participates in hospital quality improvement initiatives
- Must demonstrate sound judgment, professionalism, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Candidates must reside at least 90 miles from the facility to be considered
- Facility reserves the right to cancel up to three shifts per 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances
