Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on night shift requiring 2+ years of Med/Surg experience and TN or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Medical Surgical Combination unit within a hospital setting
- 12-bed unit with a Level III Trauma Center designation
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Patient ratio of 6:1
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Weekend rotation required every other weekend
- No on-call requirements
- May float to other Med Surg units as needed
- Uses Meditech EHR system
Requirements
- Active RN license (TN or Compact) required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Med/Surg required
- Required to pass Tennessee Abuse Registry check prior to assignment start
Additional Information
- Provide quality nursing care to adult and geriatric Med/Surg patients
- Professional demeanor expected on the unit
- Scrubs of any color accepted; casual attire not permitted
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
- Weekly orientation held on Mondays
