Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Telemetry RN for a hospital day-shift contract requiring prior travel nursing experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Acute care hospital Telemetry unit setting in Naperville, IL
• 12-hour day shifts beginning at 07:00, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Priority float to like units
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Current BLS (American Heart or American Red Cross only), ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 most recent years of acute care hospital experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required with at least 1 completed travel assignment
• Epic EMR experience required
• Date of birth required for consideration
• 2 professional references required, with 1 reference from the most recent travel assignment

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry nursing care within an acute care hospital environment
• Must work 1-2 holidays during the contract
• Facility conducts a 10-15 minute interview as part of the hiring process
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this role
• Returning permanent or per diem staff must have been away for at least 12 months to be considered as a traveler
• RTO limited to a maximum of 3 days for 8-week contracts
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate within a 50-mile radius
