Description

American Traveler is seeking a Telemetry RN for a night shift position in an acute care hospital's Float Pool, requiring an active MI license and at least one completed travel assignment.

Details

• Float Pool position within Clinical Support Services at a 288-bed acute care hospital
• Trauma center with a busy emergency department and accredited chest pain center
• Night shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts with a 36-hour guarantee (no 4x12 shifts)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Paragon EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license required at time of submission (Michigan license, no compact license accepted)
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Completion of at least one prior travel assignment required
• Paragon EMR experience preferred
• Skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration
• Michigan license verification (LARA and Nursys) required

Additional Information

• Deliver quality nursing care using the nursing process in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients and plan/implement appropriate nursing interventions
• Evaluate patient responses to care and maintain professional standards of practice
• Matching scrubs required as part of the dress code
• Candidates residing within a 35-mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers and may receive a reduced rate
• Maximum of 5 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed
• Full-time McLaren employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment
• Facility enforces a strict attendance policy; absences or tardiness may affect eligibility
