Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry Float Pool position requiring an active MI license and prior travel assignment completion.

Details

• Float Pool position within Clinical Support Services at an acute care hospital
• Acute care hospital setting with a verified trauma center and busy emergency department
• Day shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts with a 36-hour guarantee (no 4x12 shifts)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Paragon EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license required at time of submission (Michigan license, compact not accepted)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Completion of at least one prior travel assignment required
• Paragon EMR experience preferred
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application required
• Michigan license verification (LARA and Nursys) required

Additional Information

• Deliver quality nursing care utilizing the nursing process in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients and plan care accordingly
• Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions and maintain professional standards of practice
• Matching scrubs required for dress code
• Candidates residing within 35 miles of the facility are considered local travelers
• Full-time McLaren employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of their employment end date
• Strict attendance policy in place: three absences or late arrivals (20+ minutes) may result in immediate termination
• Requests for more than 7 days off or more than 50% of holidays off may affect processing timeline
