Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring a UT or compact RN license and prior cardiac cath lab experience.

Details

• Acute care setting in the Cardiac Cath Lab unit
• Monday-Friday day shift schedule, 7a-3p, 9-hour shifts
• Call responsibilities required
• Uses EPIC EMR
• 40 hours per week guaranteed
• 12 hours of orientation provided

Requirements

• Active UT or Compact RN license required; pending licenses not accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• BSN not required
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility as a condition of eligibility
• Driver's license copy required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and rehire eligibility

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within a cardiac cath lab setting
• Float radius policy applies, requiring travelers to float within their hired zone
• Candidates may not have been directly employed by any facility within the health system in the past year, though PRN employment through outside firms will be considered
