Description

American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC certification for a Long Term Care facility, requiring 1+ year of SLP experience in LTC or rehab settings.

Day shift, 8-hour schedule, 35 guaranteed weekly hours
No weekend or on-call requirements
13-week assignment

Requirements

Active OK State SLP License required if applicable
CCC-certified Speech-Language Pathologist
Minimum 1 year of SLP experience required
LTC or Rehab setting experience required
New graduates considered with Level II clinical experience (Level I observation experience alone not accepted)
One professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
Develop and adjust plans of care using standardized assessments and evidence-based practice
Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in the electronic documentation system per regulatory requirements
Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other providers
Communicate with supervisors and interdisciplinary team regarding patient progress and treatment plans
Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries per regulatory and clinical requirements
Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings
Attend required facility and company trainings and in-services
Obtain necessary DME or supplies as needed per clinical practice requirements
May supervise or support CFY or student Speech-Language Pathologists
Maintain adherence to ASHA and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics standards
No more than 7 days of requested RTO
