Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool - Stepdown position requiring ACLS, BLS, and a WV or compact RN license.
Details
- RN Float Pool position in a Stepdown unit within an acute care setting
- Uses EPIC EMR
- 12-hour night shifts with weekends as scheduled
- 48-hour per week guarantee
Requirements
- Active WV or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- BSN not required for this position
Additional Information
- Float pool role supporting various med/surg and stepdown patient care needs
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify as a traveler
- Travelers who previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before reapplying
- Travelers are not permitted to work within WVU Medicine for longer than one year without a 2-year break, with cumulative experience applying
- All candidates interview directly with the unit manager
