Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2+ years of experience to perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a Cath Lab setting.
Details
- Cardiology-Cath Lab unit
- 13-week assignment
- Shift hours of 06:45-17:00 or 07:00-17:30
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted) required within 30 days of hire
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential from CCI required within 180 days of hire
- Cardiographic Technician (CCT) credential from CCI required prior to hire
- ARRT Radiologic Technologist credential required prior to hire
- ACLS preferred
- PALS preferred
- License required if applicable
- Proficiency in angio, complex vascular and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures required
Additional Information
- Assist with organ and body scan procedures to support diagnostic imaging
- Prepare and position patients and select appropriate anatomic and technical parameters
- Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice
- Monitor patients during procedures and report abnormal findings
- Follow radiation safety procedures and regulatory compliance guidelines
- Assist Radiologist/PA with specialized imaging procedures
- First-time travelers may be considered
- Local candidates accepted, though a radius rule may apply affecting pay rate
