Description

American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN for a day shift position requiring a SC or compact RN license and strongly preferred travel experience.

Details

• Provide coverage in Pre-op and PACU units
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 8:30am to 7:00pm
• Days off vary week to week
• High floating environment due to elevated patient ratios, with floating occurring within the single hospital facility
• Floating conducted in rotation with staff and in accordance with facility floating policies, including appropriate orientation to new units
• Meditech charting system used, experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required
• AHA certifications required, specific requirements confirmed at job level
• Travel experience strongly preferred

Additional Information

• Light blue scrubs provided by facility
• Expect to work some holidays and weekends in rotation with staff
• Minimal to no RTO available, especially in the first weeks of the assignment; any RTO requests must be approved prior to assignment start
• Must reside within a 50 mile radius of the facility
• Facility does not accept candidates with background or licensure hits
• Previous employees must have been gone for at least 1 year and in good standing at time of departure to be eligible for return
• Local candidates are not accepted under the local rate
