Description

American Traveler is hiring a Home Health RN with geriatric experience and OASIS/HCHB proficiency for a Monday-Friday day shift assignment.

Details

Home Health setting serving an adult geriatric patient population
Monday through Friday day shift, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day with 6 visits daily
Minimum productivity requirement of 30 points weekly
No weekend requirements
No on-call requirements
Required to visit the main office weekly or biweekly for team meetings and to pick up supplies and admission packets
Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub office
Must be flexible with assigned territory

Requirements

Active WA state or compact RN license required, in hand
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of recent Home Health experience required
OASIS experience required
HCHB EMR experience required
Experience with wound care, medication administration, and pain assessment
Skills in IV management, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, and phlebotomy required

Additional Information

Perform admission assessments, start of care, recertifications, resumption of care, routine visits, and discharge visits
Responsible for timely documentation and communication
Scrubs required in any color, no jeans permitted
iPad provided for documentation; personal cell phone not required
Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
Local candidates accepted at the travel rate
