Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology RN for a full-time, day shift Cancer Center position requiring an active MT or compact RN license.
Details
- Cancer Center outpatient oncology setting
- Full-time, 1.0 FTE day shift schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- No nights or weekends required
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active RN license (MT or compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN, ASN, AAS, AAN) required
- BSN preferred
- Oncology Certified Nurse credential preferred
- Outpatient clinic experience preferred
- Knowledge of electronic health record systems preferred
Additional Information
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and implement patient and family education
- Assess patient needs and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care
- Must reside at least 90 miles from the facility to be considered
- Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances
