Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation position requiring a compact or IA RN license and at least 2 years of rehab nursing experience.

Details

Work in a 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital
Rehab Nursing IRF unit treating patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
6-week assignment length
Every other weekend required

Requirements

Active RN license (Standard or Compact) for the state of Iowa
AHA certifications required
Minimum 2 years of RN rehab nursing experience required
Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Active Nursys/licensure verification required at time of consideration

Additional Information

Provide comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation nursing care to maximize patient health, function, and quality of life
Candidates must be able to start within 7-10 days of offer acceptance due to rapid response need
Permanent residence must be more than 60 miles from the facility
Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
