Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and an active Iowa or compact RN license.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab unit at a Level 3 Trauma Center
- 13-week assignment with day shift schedule, 5x8s, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
- Required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
- On call 10-12 days per month
- Shared weekend coverage among team members
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active Iowa (IA) or compact RN license required
- 2+ years of Cath Lab experience required
- Current BLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military accepted)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military accepted)
- Skills checklist specific to discipline required
- Supervisory reference form completed within the last two years required
- Valid driver's license required
Additional Information
- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day)
- Limited to 1 day off request during the Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year holiday periods
- Past UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or PRN float pool) are not eligible to work travel in another market within 12 months
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
