Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2+ years of cardiac cath lab experience and ARRT(R), RCES, or RCIS certification for a community hospital setting.

Details

• Work in a diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
• Rotating call schedule covering weekdays and weekends on a three-week rotation with additional call shifts as needed
• Float required in accordance with facility floating policy and clinical experience
• Uses Cerner EMR, experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Certifications required: ARRT(R), RCES or RCIS, BLS, ACLS
• NIHSS certification required, may be obtained after offer
• License required if applicable
• Cerner charting experience preferred

Additional Information

• Procedures include diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, left and right heart catheterization, PTCA, and Impella insertion
• Responsible for scrubbing and maintaining a sterile field during procedures
• Holiday RTO requests will not be accommodated for a list of designated holidays and surrounding days, though RTO may be addressed with the manager onsite using the RTO form
• Local candidates considered within 75 miles of the facility at a reduced bill rate
• Previous perm staff cannot return to the same campus within 24 months, but may return to another Covenant Health campus after 12 months
• Related or married travel team members cannot be placed on the same unit
