Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with a minimum of 5 years of experience for a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital setting.
Details
- Inpatient and outpatient echo department scanning 75-100 studies per day
- 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Block scheduling available for Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday rotations
- Weekend shifts required depending on schedule
- No on-call requirement
- May float within scope to meet facility needs, including to affiliate hospitals nearby
- Charting via Excellian/Epic
- 672 staffed beds, Short Term Acute Care, Magnet, Teaching, Level III Trauma facility
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience required
- BLS and RDCS-Adults required; RDCS-Peds preferred
- License required if applicable
- Inpatient and ER work setting experience required; outpatient, teaching hospital, PICU, neonate, and NICU experience preferred
- Portable studies and Syngo experience required; IV starts, PACS, and biopsy experience preferred
- Experience required in 3D echo, bubble study, contrast agents, M-mode, pharmacologic stress echo, RIT/RVOT, TEE, and treadmill stress echo
- Siemens and Philips equipment experience preferred
- Pending state license accepted

- RTO ideally no more than 5 days
- Returning employees must be gone 3 months from last shift worked as perm staff or per diem
