Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring active MA licensure and PALS/ACLS/BLS certifications.
Details
- Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
- Care for patients with urgent, critical, or non-urgent conditions requiring triage and ongoing assessment
- Treat patients across all age populations including pre-natal, neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric
- Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
- Work every other weekend
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA only)
- CPI or MOAB certification required
- Epic EMR experience
Additional Information
- Perform triage, ongoing patient assessment, immediate interventions, and discharge teaching
- Interact effectively with patients across a range of intellectual and physical abilities
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Local candidates accepted if residing within 60 miles of Boston, with a reduced rate applying
- First-time travelers may be considered
