Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Interventional Radiology RN with an active Ohio or compact RN license and at least 2 years of IR experience for a day-shift hospital assignment.

Details

Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a hospital setting
Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Every other or every third weekend coverage as needed
Floating may be required
On-call requirement of 2 shifts during the contract
EPIC EMR experience preferred

Requirements

Active Ohio RN license or compact license required, must be in hand at time of consideration
BLS and ACLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
Skills in circulating procedures and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias required
Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, scrub procedures, electrophysiology procedures, and triage preferred
2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a Manager/Director or formal leadership role and the second from a Charge RN, no coworker references accepted

Additional Information

Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing for interventional radiology procedures and managing dysrhythmias as needed
Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after signing the contract due to strict timelines
Candidates located outside Ohio but within driving distance must travel to an Ohio fingerprinting location soon after booking, while those farther away will receive a mailed fingerprinting packet
Local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate
Former employees are eligible to return as travelers after being away from the facility for 6 months or more
Current employees of any Ohio State University hospital location are not eligible to work as travelers
RTO must be requested at time of consideration and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less
First-time travelers may be considered if they have specific IR or RPR skills
