Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Free-Standing Emergency Department requiring ED nursing experience and TNCC certification.

Details

Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) setting with 8 beds
Cares for high and low acuity ED patients, including critically ill cases
Patient ratio of 4:1
Daily staffing includes 2 RNs and 1 EMT on day shift plus 2 mid-shift RNs, and 2 RNs on night shift
Utilizes GE equipment and Meditech EMR
Shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
No floating required
4 weekend shifts required per schedule

Requirements

Active RN license (VA or Compact) in hand
Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC
Minimum 2 years of RN experience
Required ED nursing experience
Able to care for critically ill patients
ENPC certification preferred
Must have no employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

Perform medication administration, patient monitoring, and lab collection for ED patients
Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team
Navy blue scrub attire required
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
