Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Telemetry RN for a 13-week assignment requiring at least 1 year of telemetry experience and an active TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Work on a 28-bed Cardiac Telemetry (M/S Tele) unit
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6
• Day shift 7A-7P schedule over a 13-week assignment
• Uses Baxter IV pumps, SCD machines, glucometers, mobilab, and Welch Allyn equipment
• Charts in Meditech EMR
• Performs telemetry monitoring and wound care
• Floating required to other M/S tele units and the ED for inpatient hold patients
• 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent telemetry nursing experience required
• BSN preferred
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted)
• One professional reference required
• No work history gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Join a collaborative unit team including a Director, Manager, CNC, RNs, LVNs, PCTs, and a Unit Secretary
• Scrub color required: Royal Blue
