Description

American Traveler is hiring a Step-down RN with HVTI telemetry experience for a hospital assignment requiring an active OH or compact RN license and ACLS/BLS/NIHSS certifications.

Details

• Work in the Step-down unit (HVTI-Stepdown) of a hospital setting
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Rotating day/night shifts (7am-7:30pm / 7pm-7:30am), 3x12 hour shifts
• Shifts may vary and rotate as needed to meet hospital operational needs
• Required to work at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 year combined permanent experience in the specialty required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required
• Must complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation with an acceptable score
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required, medical/religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to step-down/telemetry patients, with potential cross-coverage in related units and the ED
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Previous permanent or per diem employees cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their last end date
• RTO must be discussed and finalized during the interview process
• First-time travelers are not considered for this position
