Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN for a hospital setting requiring an active Ohio or compact RN license and ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certification.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Rotating day/night shifts (3x12 hours), 7pm-7:30am or 7am-7:30pm
• Shifts may vary based on hospital operational needs

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license required at time of consideration
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required, from an assignment worked in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with up to 2 attempts to achieve a passing score
• Required to work every other holiday
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• First-time travelers not considered for this position
