Description
American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience to treat adult orthopedic patients in an acute care setting.
Details
- 100-bed, Joint Commission accredited acute care facility
- Rehabilitation unit with a mix of 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient care
- Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Weekend coverage required on a 1:4 rotation
- Strict 1:1 patient ratios
- Patient population predominantly adult outpatient orthopedic, including joint replacements and back, neck, and shoulder pain
- No floating required
Requirements
- MSPT or DPT required
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- AHA certifications required
- Experience with general outpatient orthopedic conditions including joint replacements and back/neck pain required
- Experience with general medical inpatients and joint surgeries preferred
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Main responsibilities include evaluating and treating outpatient and inpatient orthopedic patients
- Outgoing personality encouraged to fit team culture
- Any scrub color accepted
- Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility
- Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
