Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift hospital position requiring an active Ohio RRT license and 2+ years of experience.

Details

• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 18:30 to 7:00
• Weekend work as needed
• May float to other facilities within the health system as needed
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active Ohio RRT license required (license required if applicable)
• NBRC certification required, active and in hand at time of consideration
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT required
• Active AHA certifications required at time of consideration, no pending certifications accepted
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Smoke-free and nicotine-free facility with no exceptions
• Negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
• Background check hits of any kind will be reviewed by the facility, and license hits are not accepted
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments may be extended up to 18 consecutive months, after which a 6-month break is required
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be discussed during the interview process
