Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in a combined MSICU/CVICU unit requiring BLS and ACLS certification.
Details
- Work in a combined 20-bed MSICU and 20-bed CVICU unit
- Staffing includes 7 day shift and 6 night shift staff members
- Patient ratios estimated at no more than 6 ventilated patients per therapist
- Utilizes PB840 and PB980 ventilators, Bipap V60, Hamilton C1, and MR1 equipment
- Documentation via Meditech
- Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- No call requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NRP certification required for staff caring for neonates
- License required if applicable
- Experience performing bedside bronchoscopy, managing ventilators, and ABG draws
Additional Information
- Perform bedside bronchoscopy, ventilator management, and arterial blood gas procedures
- Function well independently in a fast-paced environment
- Light grey scrub color required

- Does not accept local candidates within a 50 mile radius
