Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry position requiring prior travel nursing experience and IL licensure.
Details
- Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
- Day shift, 12-hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM
- 6-week contract length
- First to float
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Must work Thanksgiving Day
Requirements
- Active IL RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (BLS must be American Heart or American Red Cross)
- Minimum 3 years of telemetry nursing experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required with at least 1 completed travel assignment
- Epic EMR experience required
- 2 professional references required, with 1 from most recent travel assignment
- Date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Complete 24 hours of orientation, including 12 non-billable hours over 2 shifts
- Facility conducts a brief interview of approximately 10-15 minutes prior to placement
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
- Returning permanent or per diem staff must have a 12-month break in service before being considered as a traveler
- RTO limited to a maximum of 3 days for this 6-week contract
- Must work 1-2 holidays during the contract period
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate within a 50-mile radius
