Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position requiring 5+ years of ED experience and BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Details

• 13-bed Emergency Department within an acute care hospital setting
• Treats all patient populations including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients
• Common diagnoses include kidney stones, ACS, stroke, sprains, fractures, and AKI
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Uses B450 monitors and Baxter pumps
• Meditech EHR system
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within scope and skillset

Requirements

• Active RN license (TN or compact) required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 5 years of ED nursing experience required
• Strong teamwork and communication skills required
• Must be willing to work in a busy ED environment

Additional Information

• Positive attitude and strong personality fit valued by the unit
• Scrubs of any color accepted, but attire branded with another facility's name is not permitted
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
