Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a Critical Access Hospital night shift position requiring at least one year of CAH experience.

Details

• Assignment on the Medical Surgical floor of a Critical Access Hospital
• Possibility of serving as Charge Nurse during assigned shifts
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Shifts grouped when possible but not scheduled for 6 consecutive nights
• Floating to different units possible

Requirements

• Active RN license (KS or compact) required in hand at time of consideration
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience required
• PALS and TNCC certifications preferred, especially for candidates with ER experience
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• One professional reference required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg unit with potential Charge Nurse responsibilities
• Candidates with ER experience or willingness to float are preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
