Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position on night shift, requiring BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.

Details

• Work in a freestanding Emergency Department with 11 beds
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Night shift schedule (7p-7a)
• Rotating weekend requirements
• No on-call responsibilities
• Rare floating to Henderson ED
• Uses Paragon EHR

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of ER nursing experience required
• Skilled in IV administration, critical care, and drips
• ER and critical care experience preferred

Additional Information

• Facility is a Joint Commission accredited Duke Lifepoint Hospital with an 'A' LeapFrog Hospital Safety Rating
• Region's largest and most comprehensive ED with an advanced ICU and PCU
• Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
