Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for an outpatient therapy setting serving adult and pediatric patients.

Details

• Outpatient occupational therapy setting serving pediatric and adult patients
• Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Patients seen on a 1:1 basis
• Patient population includes geriatrics, adults, and pediatrics with musculoskeletal, neurological, and developmental diagnoses
• May float to acute hospital setting as needed (minimal)
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Current TN OT license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of OT experience required
• Experience treating musculoskeletal and neuro conditions (e.g. CVA, Parkinson's) and pediatric developmental delays preferred

• Facility offers a full range of services including emergency, inpatient, and outpatient care across two campuses
• Work alongside a Director of Rehabilitation Services and supportive therapy team
• Tennessee Abuse Registry check required prior to assignment start
• Professional dress code required; no open-toed shoes, hoodies, or casual wear
• Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to be considered for travel assignment
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time during assignment
